About Private School Axis Axis is a 501(c)( 3) nonprofit organization that partners with Los Angeles location independent colleges to create paths for underrepresented students and households of color to gain access to, browse, and flourish in private education. Independent institutions do not properly represent the overall Los Angeles populace, where over 70% of citizens are people of shade. With our Axis friends, we sustain pupils and educators of shade as they access personal education opportunities with our continuous assistance. We also work with Partner Schools across L.A. to make a long lasting and transformative impact on their variety, equity, addition, and liability (DEIA) techniques. By holding colleges liable for just how they approach and deal with DEIA, we can accomplish better understanding end results for all students while also preparing them to become multiculturally competent residents. Our genuine, detailed, and deliberate strategy looks for to create a more equivalent and just schooling experience for all.
